These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of sciFi (“we”, “our”, or “us”), an AI-powered data analysis and notebook platform similar to Jupyter Notebook or Google Colab (the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.


1. Eligibility & Authority

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or legal age in your jurisdiction)
  • Have legal capacity to enter into these Terms

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and these Terms apply to the organization.


2. Account Registration & Security

To access certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information
  • Keep credentials confidential
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized account access due to your failure to secure credentials.


3. Service Description

The Service enables users to:

  • Upload data files (e.g., CSVs)
  • Create notebooks with executable code cells
  • Run data analysis workflows
  • Use AI-assisted tools for code and insight generation

The Service may evolve, change, or be discontinued at any time.


4. User Content & Data Ownership (Aligned with Privacy Policy)

4.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of:

  • Uploaded data
  • Notebook content
  • Code, outputs, charts, and results

4.2 License to Operate

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide and operate the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your data or use it to train public models without explicit consent.

4.3 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • The legality of your data
  • Ensuring you have rights to upload and process it
  • Compliance with data protection laws applicable to your data

5. Notebook Execution & Open-Source Disclaimer

5.1 Code Execution Risks

The Service allows execution of user-written code. You acknowledge that:

  • Code execution may consume compute resources
  • Errors, crashes, or data loss may occur
  • You are responsible for reviewing and testing your code

We are not responsible for outcomes caused by user-executed code.

5.2 Open-Source Libraries

The Service may rely on open-source software and libraries.

You acknowledge that:

  • Open-source components are provided “as is”
  • Their licenses govern their use
  • We provide no warranties regarding third-party open-source software

6. AI Features Disclaimer

AI features may provide:

  • Code suggestions
  • Analysis guidance
  • Automated explanations or insights

You acknowledge that:

  • AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete
  • Outputs are not professional advice
  • You must independently verify results

Use of AI features is at your own risk.


7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Upload illegal, infringing, or confidential data without rights
  • Execute malicious code (malware, cryptomining, exploits)
  • Attempt to bypass system limits or security controls
  • Abuse compute, storage, or API resources
  • Reverse engineer or scrape the Service

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.


8. Enterprise, Team & Organization Accounts

8.1 Team Accounts

If you use a team or enterprise plan:

  • An admin user may manage members and permissions
  • Admins may access or manage team content
  • You are responsible for all users under your organization

8.2 Organizational Data

By using team features, you acknowledge that:

  • Content may be shared internally within your organization
  • Admins control access and retention
  • We act only as a data processor, not owner

8.3 Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring organizational compliance with:

  • Internal policies
  • Industry regulations
  • Data protection laws

9. Data Storage, Retention & Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to secure data, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

However:

  • No system is 100% secure
  • You should maintain backups of critical data
  • We are not liable for data loss beyond reasonable control

10. Paid Plans & Billing (If Applicable)

For paid plans:

  • Fees are billed in advance
  • Payments are non-refundable unless required by law
  • Usage limits and quotas may apply

Failure to pay may result in suspension or downgrade.


11. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • These Terms are violated
  • The Service is misused
  • Required by law or security reasons

You may terminate your account at any time.

Upon termination:

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Madhya Pradesh, India.

Courts in Indore shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
